Pursuing native trout and salmon species throughout some of this continent's most inspiring landscapes has been a passion of his for as long as he can remember. Photographing, for the first time, these unique species is a way for him to share their beauty with others. He hopes it will bring awareness to our endangered watersheds and the species that call them home. Fellow fisherman know how challenging it is to approach trout in their home lies.
Using a variety of self taught techniques through much trial and error, he has been able to record these unique salmonids in detail which has never before been seen. These locations are highly researched to coincide with the best water conditions and spawning colorations. His ideal shooting location is miles from a trailhead and thousands of feet down in a river gorge, where few have been. He has spent countless days chasing subject matter from the high aspen plateaus of Arizona to the stunning peaks of British Columbia. Living in Big Sky, Montana gives him the chance to enjoy everything the oudoors has to offer from skiing to kayaking. He sells his prints at art shows and local galleries in Dillon, Big Sky and Missoula. Hopefully you will enjoy these pictures and share them with your friends.
